I have been taking photos on the red carpet for almost ten years. What I aim to achieve is capturing the interaction between celebrities and their fans or more directly between the subject and my lens.I do not look for posed or staged photos: I like to show stars being spontaneous, showing genuine emotions and interactions.
For example, when I asked Terry Gilliam to look at me on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, he tried to scare me suddenly turning to my lens and going "BOO!".
I think this is exemplary of how I like to work and the final results I achieve.
